3650 Reset TO Factory?? PLEASE HELP

I just did a RESET using *#7370#. The phone was unlocked.. Is it still?? I only have 1 chip, so i cant test... PLEASE HELP!

I never unlocked a phone before. Wish I can experience at least one unlocking. Guess that's nearly impossible because i always buy unlocked phones on Ebay lol :lol:

in singapore, fones are not locked to any network, so we are free to trade or sell the fone.

i found that it only gets locked again if you upgrade your firmware. when i had me old 3310 i got it unlocked then the screen went in it so took it to be repaired. they put a new screen in and updated the firmware which lost me all my settings and locked my fone again. had to get it unlocked again

i tink its the firmware - for example, they see ur fone as telco XXX, so they use the XXX firmware to flash ur fone, so it gets locked to XXX again.

yeah, but then i think it might only be on pay and go phones too. my 3310 was on pay and go but my 3650 is on contract and it was unlocked when i got it and ive had the firmware upgraded and its still unlocked??

oh wait, lol im being slow! the firmware that was originally on my phone was unlocked as standard, they guys who upgraded it saw what firmware it was and upgraded it with anotherone that was also unlocked as standard.
