All appreciation goes to the author, Ice Dragon (Bacolod City, Philippines) for the hardwork in developing the Original Nokia DCT3 Flashtone, Message Alert Tone/Ringing Tone Changer. Flashtone V2.09 & 2.10-Lite (save .fls automatically) fixed the bug in long and continues tone in 6210 and 7110.

It was then, Flashtone 2.02 (protection cracked), Flashtone 2.05(again, huh :( )... but you never heard again of Flashtone v2.07a, v2.08, v2.09 and the LATEST VERSION v2.10 Lite released here only in the Philippines... As a sign of goodwill and contribution to the GSM enthusiast software collections that was for the DCT-3 Mobile Phones

Thanx friend but FlashTone is bad for change ringtone for me:(
i use rttl convert to re and hex workshop ringtone is very good :)

i am a register user ....now is FREE..........
i reaaly do not know why ice dragon want to release it
but it is good for all Gsm friend.

I remember seeing a post where someone described the max number of notes for standard and special sms alert tones but I can no longer find the post. does anyone know the limits?

btw, used flashtone 2.09 and it works great! but the reason i'm asking how many notes is because i set my standard and special alert tones using the same rtttl file (around 10 or 11 notes) and the special tone works fine (repeats the tone twice though) but the standard tone is messed up. like some notes are missing from the middle of the tone.

Alert tone length is fixed for units aside from 6210,6250 and 7110.
So the lengths (including the pause "P") are:
Standard -- 5 to 7 notes including the pauses "P", if any.
Special -- 13 to 15 notes including the pauses "P", if any.
Beep Once -- 4 to 6 notes including the pauses "P", if any.
Ascending (Long Loud) -- 118 to 120 notes including the pauses "P",

that's what IceDraagon said before i bought the registered copy of FlashTONE Flashers_Club edition... actually he was planning to release it last July 2002 but unfortunately his health worsen and some cracko cracked his FlashTONE lite... oh well.
