Help id installed a corrupt file and when i try to uninstall and install other programs it says 'App closed 'Childinstaller'' so now i cant install or remove any thing can u help please.

erm, was the app u installed tt caused tis error a java game?

can u find it in manager or applications, see if u can delete the faulty game

i have removed the java game but it still wrecks up. if i did the reset *#7370# would it clear that?

what else would it clear?

If you do the *#7370# format, yes it will clear it. But it will clear you calendar, to-do, contacts etc

If you own the Nokia 6600, I think you should do the three-key format, its better and more reliable ... seeing that you are going to lose all the data anyway

You don't neccessarily have to lose all data, you can backup your phone on a PC via a BT or IRDA connection.

hmmm.... i was tinkin, if u back it up, wun the error b backed up too?

juz copy all the contacts to sim, the rest, take ur time to install back.
