Original Nokia 6600 Wallpaper

Were there any original wallpaper that came with your 6600? Cause mine didn't and I've formatted a few times.

If you do have the original defaults, can you please share?

when u format ur fone....

install fexplorer, go to c:/system/data, the name of the default wall paper is background image, at least tts wat it shows on my fone.

so u gotta find someone who nv changed the wallpaper, to send tt image to u.

I have it as part of the nokia default theme - the bkg is of the woman from the advert taking photo of a car with the phone.. same as pic on box too.

However cant find the default theme files and the file in the c:\system\data just stays as whatever my last custom wallpaper was and doesnt change to the nokia one... any ideas where the deault themes are stored? Found a folder called skins in Z: but not sure if this is right as dont recognise the type on files in there?

yea, i looked ard Z: too, cant seem to find it.

so i guess u gotta get it off someone who juz formatted the fone.

I just formatted my 6600 and can't find the original wallpaper. I searched c: and z: for *.mbm files but it comes up with a few icons and that's it.

its not a mbm file, did u look ard c:/system/data, to see if theres a file called backgroundimage or sth?

Yeah there is a file called background.mbm which is only there if you overwrite one of the original themes wallpaper.

hmm... im not so sure then.... coz i had tt file in my 3650 when i formatted it last time...

Nope. No success. Can't find any original wallpapers on the Nokia 6600

ye i can fix them, silk, metal and some others.

U'll get them tommorow as i'm going back to my old town to celebrate my birthday :D i have a mate with the standard backgrounds.

But a Q why do u want the standard backgrounds? There are millions of themes ffs!!!
