Hi, I just got a 8310 and I need to unlock it and I pretend to use a dct4 calc. Problem is I don't know the operator code. Is there a way to know it without cable solution - a keypad code or something? Thxs again.

the operator code is not dependent on the phone, but the network that the phone is locked to.

the attachment i have included, has the majority of them.
just look under your country name, and then find the network that the phone is locked to (the one it works on at the moment).

BE CAREFULL when typing in codes on the phone, you only have 5 chances...and sometimes you need all of them. if you use all 5 then you will have to use cable solution!

gud luck

Hi thanks for the prompt reply. Maybe I didn't explained the issue correctly. Problem is I received a phone from UK and live in Portugal, so I don't have a clue about the network it is currently locked to. How can I find this without a cable - if it is possible, of course.

well the only way realy is that:
if it has an orange logo at the bottom of the case, it is lock to to the uk orange network
if any others...unfortunetly it is hard to find out without testing UK sim cards in it.

but if you recently purchased it, it is unlikely to be locked to o2 as they no longer lock there phones. so most likely option would be t-mobile or vodaphone....i would say t-mobile.

just try code 7 (the 1 ending +7#)
if this does not work try code 5 (the 1 ending +5#)

good luck....sorry for the delay!!!

look at the wap settings for the phone....it may tell you which network it was set to in the uk ??
