Flashing with an MBUS/FBUS cable

I think this is just a rumour, but is it true that u can flash a fone using an MBUS/FBUS cable on a COM (RS232) port?

unless things have changed in the last 2 months.. it's a rumour. you cannot flash a phone with an fmbus cable

You cannot flash by Data Cable on nokias
You can on other types of phone but not nokias :)

there is one flasher I know of that flashes by USB and that the twister flasher although I havent heard of anyone actually trying this out ;)
also the cost of a twister is around £400 so I wouldnt buy it ;)

ok... thanks for clearing that up guys... ill just go tell this guy (the one who told me the rumour) that he is dead wrong..... btw im have already made a dejan flasher but have only one prob.... how do i get connecters for the fones..... is there a place where they can be bought? :-)
