7250i dont switch on

Hi there took a gamble on a 7250i which was thrown on the floor(someone lost there temper) so i bought it for £20 the screen is cracked but i have noticed that it doesnt power up and doesnt seem to be charging would a very damaged screen cause no power up, i mean where the lcd clips into the pcb that seems fine, no pins damaged.
would changing the screen solve all my problems or am i dreaming :-D

p.s even the keypad area doesnt illuminate

no the screen shouldent make it stop chargeing... i had to remove and replace my screens sens my nice friend f**ked mine up to... but mine works... i should check the socket at the bottom where all the connectors is places. if i remember correctly you shuld be able to remove it and clean it... then try again

In the hardware section there is a guide posteb by me...inside U will find a simple trick how to test dead sets ..sometimes U only need to flash the phone...I have succesfully repaired two 6510 troun in a wall only with flashing..I mean to light them up..after that I had to change PA..

ok i shall take a look, i think it will need re flashing though and im not having any success with the cheap flasher kit i have with any programs
