Hey guys,

I am reading on this forum for a while and due to that I've been able to flash my nokia 8210 with an 7-bars flash. Als I am able now to change the size of the bars, smiles etc. :D

But one thing I cant manage, how to view and edit a .fls file? I searched many times trough the forum, but cant find an satisfying answer. My goal is to see the source code and to be able to change the font (yes I tried font editor, but no result visible!) and to change the security code for my sms inbox and so on. I just want to trie thing out, but dont know how to see the .fls and edit it.

For example, i want to understand how you guys manage to get a sc in the inbox. :)

Hope some of u have tips and tricks to help me on my way of learning how to make a working .fls!

Thanx in advance!!!!

There is one main program I use to look at the 'source' code of the flash file and that is WinARM by digicrox

You can normally use any hex editor to modify the bytes of the flash
and to compile your own ARM code you can use ARMada by g3gg0

basically to learn how to add the security code to say the inbox takes time and study of the nokia flash file

the easiest way I have found to see how someone has done say the security code patch is to take a patched flash and the original flash file then compare them using hex workshop and look at the changed bytes in winARM
you should hopefull see patterns in the code which will allow you to edit it yourself ;)

Danny

Oke thanx! That sure give me an direction to look at :)

Only thing i am wondering is where to download Armada? Searched many sites but found nothing.

I have also an very specific question, how to change the font? I tried several things using [/B]font edit[/B] but did not manage to change the font at all.

Is there a howtodo somewhere? :???:

Regards to all!

(Btw I am dutch, so as you noticed my english is not perfect :))

Hi,

For font editing, U can use flsedit by Mr. Tnp.

To get Armada, U can search where Mr. G3gg0 has introduced the G3n0liteV2.

It was in the same zip from my head.
