Nokia 3650 - Site Unlocking codes didn't work

I have a Nokia 3650, bought on ebay. Used the Unlock code generator and I have entered code 1 and code 7 but NEITHER worked. It said 'code error' or 'code failed', something like that...

Nokia Free gave this (But they did NOT work):

download the ultimate calculator, is the best around... and use the last code. Be sure of the asic type.

Thanks, i went to http://www.uniquesw.com/ and got a program and used the online one, so when they both gave me the same codes I felt more confident that they where right so i did it and it worked...

1) I really don't know how to use these codes exactly. Call me dumb or impatient ... but I need step by step directions.

How bout this ....

If I can only enter up to 5 codes b4 hard-lock ... and there are 14 codes for me to choose ... which ones should I use .. or ... could it be .... ASIC 5 tells me to use code 5? Uggg. Confusing.

2) Whe selecting 3650 from the code retriever ... it says Nokia 3650 Not USA. However, when codes are retrieved .... it says "If your phone is from USA, Austria, France, Hungary, Netherlands, Mexico, Portugal or Spain please use code 1 in the list below then code 7 if that does not work."

This is kind of confusing. Seems to contradict. Not USA ... then if USA use 1 and 7. Hmmmm.

3) I notice this retrieval page says : "Powered by Uniquesw" .. but when I DLed the latest version of Unique ... v2.31 ... I got different results.

Uniquesw v2.31 entries:

31020 T-Mobile U.S.A

IMEI: 351102502027906 .... then 6 in that box to the right.

ASIC type : the one with 3650 ... duh.

key code: 34144 ... default.
?Griffin new?

Ahhh .. same as Unique v 2.31 .... but still different from NokiaFree. I still honestly don't know which to use. Maybe 1 or 7 of the Ultimate 1.0/Unique 2.31? Edge reccomended 7? I am just trying to narrow things down. I don't mean to make a code request. I have done all I need to AFAIK .... except choose a code. Input b 4 I start trying and potentially hard-lock my phone? Read FAQ again. This time I actually read it instead of skimming over it. Saw that I shouldn't be using the Griffin New code ... and instead v2. Used ultimate calc ... entered info this time with v2 .... got :

This is the same data as the Nokia free calculator .. EXCEPT the Nokia free calculator was missing the last "3" in the first code. Since everything else matched up .... and I read about the common problem of the Nokia free site missing 1 digit from first code .... and saew that it reccomends to use the 1st code 1st..... I entered it ... and the lonnngggg tone followed with "Phone Restriction off" commenced. Glad it worked! Thank you NokieFree! Let's see how Suncom's sim likes my phone now ....

3. Type in the following code in the phone

then if that doesn't work
