Hello,
I apologize if this has been asked, but I couldn't find it...
I just bought a 6200 yesterday. Is there a way to get rid of the carrier name in the display? It's over top my fancy new wallpaper and it's bugging me.
Thanks!!!
Lars

you need a blank operator logo.
try downloading this one from wap:
http://www.encodinginfo.org.uk/nokia/blank.nol
if it doesn't work, go to http://jhonny.org/wap (also from the phone's wap) and enter 1 as item number.

I'm very new to this so can you give me a bit more detail? I got the PC Suite from Nokia and the blamk.nol file already. What else do I need? cable? ...?
Thank Much
Dustin

you can use a cable, but that is the hard way....
simply connect to wap from your phone, and go to that address (the one contains the blank.nol at the end) and the logo will be downloaded to the phone.
connecting to wap is done by long-pressing the "0" key.
if it can't connect - you need wap settings - ask the provider to send them to you.
note that you pay for every minute you are connected, unless you are using gprs.
