i'm not good in hardware repairs like displays and so..

got 3210 to experiment some things.
i just thought i'll put a picture under lcd.
put covers back and so, now only lights work, no text to display.

there's no contact from pcb to lcd?!? or it feels like that.
does somebody have instructions how to succesfully repair broken 3210 display?

The contact between the pcb and screen should be made through an elastomer (little rubber bit) check this is still available on the screen and it hasnt been covered by anything, this must make contact with screen and pcb for the screen to work...

seems like that elastomer is too short or something, maybe i have to put something between display and front cover.

You could try a elastomer from a 5110/6110 as these are a lot longer
It might make contact with the pcb and work? worh a try if you have got one?

3310 screen alone will fit into a 3210!

hmm... i dont have 5110 to try..
maybe other tips how to make sure connect?
bad there is no screws or other things to keep it tight.
tried and tried push display to pcb..
i could buy it, but it's not worth it.
nobody wants a non-working 3210.

Hmm...

Quick fix.
You can buy a 3210 LCD for about 6e and you can sell the fixed mobile for 40e-50e.
