Nokia 3200 Firmware Bug !!

I wonder if anyone else noticed this in their Nokia 3200?

Set you phone to Silent profile with
"Incoming call alert" = Off
"Vibrating alert" = On

Now turn on the radio and try to receive a call and after that see what happens??? The volume control using left/right navigation keys hangs up and phone needs a restart for it to work again.

Same thing happens in any other profile if above two settings are set.

Is there any firmware upgrade released by Nokia for this issue?

I found a temperory workaround for this but it is not very effective.. Instead of seting "Incoming call alert" = Off, set it to "Incoming call alert" = Beep Once and set ringer volume to minimum. Thus it is as good as silent mode but beep is heard in extereme silent environment. :evil:

ehh, 3200 is very buggy. Sometimes (if I use voice recorder or radio) when I make call, I hear sound in loudspeaker, and cant turn off. Sometimes taken pictures saves in voice tags directory. I have V a3.08

I contacted "NokiaCare" through email about this problem and you know what they said?
They asked me to go to local Nokia service centre and check if any upgrade for 3200 firmware is available with them !!! :evil:
That means even they don't know whether their company has released an update or not !!! :-o

What "new" do you have in your phone? Don't you have this volume control bug?

Mine is China made. What about yours?

Did you set the profile as I mentioned in my first post? After turning the radio, you need to receive a call. The control hangs only after you receive a call.

Sorry for bothering you so much but I am trying to figure out whether I am not the only victim of this bug.

Hi!
My phone made in Hungary.
And it ressive calls fine. If radio is on and I have a call than radio turn off itself, I'm talking, after end of call radio works arain.
