Can you flash 3330 in to 3310/15?

Sorry about the noob question :D
I know some of you may think that it is a downgrade but can a 3330 be flashed with a 3310/15 flash? :-?
I know this must have been mentioned before... sorry.
The main reason I ask is because so many people mod 3310/15 flash files but not 3330.
I would try and mod a 3330 flash myself but I always get contact service when I use g3n0lite :sad:
If it is possible to flash a 3310/15 flash on to a 3330 could someone please tell me how and if not START MODDING 3330s PEOPLE... lol :D :lol: :D

here's the procedure for the downgrade:

1. backup fone from address 0x200000 to 0x600000 (just in case...)
2. flash 3310 mcu+ppm+eeprom from address 0x200000 to 400000
3. flash 3310 mcu+ppm+eeprom from address 0x400000 to 600000
4. reset sp lock, set imei, quick set faid
5. use pclocals or knok phoenix or nokiatools 1.9 to convert 3310 to 3315..

its easy it is just a double flash proccess :D

Is it that simple? In thought converting the 3315 flash so it was compatable with 3330 was more complicated, but maybe not...

I was stuffing around with it using Knok and now it doesn't turn on or want to flash it (even with a 3330 FUBU).
This has happened to me before and I just used a different flashing program... I thought it was rolis flasher that I used but I downloaded it and it wont work in XP :sad:

to use rolis with xp you need to use program calles userport..search the forum and you'll find it..

Userport worked perfectly.
BUT... when I try the steps that you said I get contact service.
I know that the flash works as I have tried it on a 3310.
Any Idea why this happened?

after flashing use nokiatools 1.8 to change IMEI and reset sp locks then reset factory settings...then contact service will be solved..

It wont let me change the IMEI...
I typed in its original IMEI but at the bottom of Nokia Tool 1.8 it says "000000000000000 imei write failed".

keep trying it must be changed but at first did you press the read info button before trying to change IMEI?is the program reads the phone infos??You should also check the change original IMEI too as it must be changed..

I did read phone info and it come up with:

IMEI 000000000000000
Original IMEI 656565656565656
Sec. Code 00000

and I also ticked the "Change original IMEI too" box

so it is clear now that you MUST change the IMEI...try again with Rolis nokiatools or use Knok or Nokia tool by jordik...

I figured it out.
I backed up 200000 to 600000 off the 3310 that i said it was working on and then put it on the 3330.
Still one little problem... Nokia Tool says that the sec. code is 12345 but it comes up with code error.

Netmonitor actualy didn't do anything... my sec. code still only works about half the time.
But I had to enable it for the flash that I put on it.
I have had this problem before after flashing this 3330 but i fixed it by resetting default settings and changing to sec. code from 12345 to 12345... not actualy changing it but it worked.
But I am unable to change the sec. code with this flash as there is no "Phone Security" menu.

i think it is a bug in that flash file you are using..

you should make reset factory by nokiatools or reset by eeprom tools to get your defualt sec code 12345.

But are there any programs that let you put it as what you want... like going to Settings> Security Settings> Change access codes> Change security code, as I dont seem to have that menu anywhere in my flash.
No use having Nokia's default sec. code as your inbox password :lol:
