I have managed to get my Nokia 6600 to work as a webcam by linking with bluetooth, installing Remote S60 and using softcam and Eyeball chat. The only problem is that my camera keeps going into standby mode every minute or so and its very annoying having to keep prssing buttons on the phone to bring the camera viewfinder back up.
Does anyone know of an alternative method I can use that stops the need to keep pressing buttons and ending standby mode.
Thanx

Yeah, it does that to save power. I think you can use the Video Recorder, as that doesn't go onto standby, or if it does, it longer than the camera. The only downside is the quality drops.

Umm i think he wants the Camera to remain on, not so worried about the backlight... The best solution would be to use a video recording application.

i have an app which connects my 3650 to pc over bluetooth for webcam purpose, it has a java app which you use for the cam and it appears on screen then you just place softcam over it and WEBCAM!!!
dunno if i would be allowed to upload it here, cant find it any where to see if it is freeware or such, i found it quite randomly
