problematic programs

hi to all,

can we make this thread to warn those 6600 users of some problematic programs?

let me start the ball rolling..

some problematic programs/ games i encounter:

1) rally pro - reset ur calendar ALL the time
2) XIII - cannot pass thru stage 2
3) eticam (dunno which version of v.1.0) - need to set date earlier than 31/11/03 to work
4) prince of persia - cannot work despite using the 6600 version
5) Metal Bluster - need to turn off sound
6) MLB slam - faulty colors (some parts)
7) SlovoEd - closed at random

so guys any such programs in ur 6600 that u make ur 6600 worse off? or programs that conflict with one another, or programs that actually closed ur stuff illegally (like the "davidcopperfield" start up tone when u on ur fone everytime, wonder where did it go)? please share with me ur views!

well, its not a sticky, go to the forum index, its a whole new section wif loads of faqs.

6600 users, pls contribute to tis list, so i could update the faq section one and make it more complete.

Problems with FW 4.09.1

Photograhper 2.4 - Won't install
Full screen caller - Won't install
Screentaker - Won't install
Total IR v. > 1.41 - won't work (1.41 works just fine)

I will update the list when new programs has been tested

well i got a few solutions:

4) ive played this without any problems on my 6600... try to download another version. its sands of time ur talking about right?
5) tap ok rapidly untill uve started the first level (u gotta press ok before the screen has faded totaly in so do it fast!)... the game wont crash and u will have sound.

also no. 1 doesnt happen to me but i know its a know problem

omg, photographer dun work? thats serious, i mean, its a pretty neat software...

hey reficul. u shud install slovoed 2.0 it works well for me. it closes only when you close it. version 1 almost all the builds close randomly.
