does this trick work on an MMC inserted in a different phone? what i meant was if you put a password let's say using a 3650 then insert it in a 3660, will you still recover the password?

Hi! i found the mmcstore file in my phone memory, then i transfered it to pc then open it using notepad, but the problem is there are special characters in it. i cant understand those characters. can u help me on this?

It shouldn't happen. At the end it should say "p a s s w o r d" with spaces between each letter

PS: Maybe if you deleted the mmcstore file, it would protect it? Seeing that if you insert the MMC on a different phone and entered the correct password, no new mmcstore file would be created again ...

After this, I inserted the MMC again and it was asking for Password but I cant remember the password. :sad: I want to use my MMC but I cant open it now.Can I still retrieve my password? Won't it work by just buying a cardreader? Or is it protected from being viewed that way too?

You shove in a RS-MMC with adaptor or MMC, the Card Reader/Writer cannot read it because its password-protected.
You can only remove the password on a mobile phone.

Btw, didn't someone mention placing the MMC or RS-MMC next to a battery or something? Is this useful? What's the risk involved? :-?

its placing a magnet, and tis might not work still, could even damage ur mmc.

(the password on mmcstore doesnt work) or maybe another way to recover my data and my MMC from unlock problem. please send me an SMS if you solve this problem. Is not there any brute force method?
Has some body any info about method of encryption for mmc?

well, theres no mmc pass cracker i know of. 1 way is to format with another device, thou i doubt u can since its locked. basically u can just get another mmc.
