Hello,

I am lookign at getting into flashing phones. I ultimately want to start modifying firmware. But to start with I want to play and experiment.

Therefore I am looking for a cabling solution that will support the maximum number of Nokia's for the minimal cost. I do have experience with electronics, so making some of the kit is an option.

I am going to start with a DCT3 phone but want to be looking at DCT4 in the near future.

I have taken a look at what ucables has to often and now am more confused than I was before.

Thanks in anticipation,

Dave!

Well if you are good with your electronics there are several options

You could build a flasher which will cost around £1 to make and then buy cable attachments off u-cables

or you can normally find dct3 flasher kits for £15 - £20 on the net

Danny

Cheers for the reply. Which flasher are known to be the better? In other words are there any you recommend? And then what about DCT4?

Many thanks again!
