8210 LCD problem...

I have this problem with my 8210, if u press the area above the LCD (even with the lightest of pressure), the LCD goes blank for a couple of seconds or the LCD goes wierd and all the characters/pictures get mixed up. Does anyone know how/why this is happening or knows how this could be fixed?

(p.s. my friend said he had a similar problem with his 8210... is this common?)

This is a good known problem...U need to change the elastomer/a small rubber on the back side of the LCD..If U cant find one klean it good with alcohol and the PCB contacts too..

try cleaning the rubber thing that transfers the power to the lcd that works for me.... i had the same problem before
