how to access computer from 7250i by gprs

hey i got a winamp plugin for wap running on port 83 but how do i access it? do i type http://nitroserver.serveftp.org:83 on the phone? it tells me the service is not available at the moment... i also tryed my ip adress... ill attache the winamp plugin

Hi, are you running a fire wall? can you connect to your pc over the net from someine else's pc? that would be the first step... then try the GPRS thing.. I mannaged to connect to my web server using GPRS, but only after I disabled my fire wall... I found a media player server on Microsoft's web site... it can stream audio and video, but it is not made especialy for wap. You may be interested in it... just go to Microsoft. com, then look for media player website... it is on there... I just can't remember what it was called...

yes i got a firewall and yes i can connect to all ports used by my server.... as you can se on my webpage that is hosted directly from my internet connection i use now.... so the anser is yes the port is open.... but i dont know whats wrong with it becose my friend can connect to the winamp wap server but not me....
