a bloke came up to me today and said his sone had killed his 7110, he said he was messing with a cable and some software he had downloaded, the phone was working fine prior to this, when i checked his cable it was a standard flash cable.
So i though reflash would sort it, i downloaded a flash file off www.cubwolf.co.uk and reflashed the phone, it still didnt switch on, so i did a virgin eeprom flash, one of them worked and the other came with error "file has to be n*64..... " anyway after reflashing virgin eeprom and reflashing firmware 5.01 the phone switched on but says "contact service", does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem, or is it a dead phone?? :-?
