Is there a Glossary?

I tried to post this request on the Newbie forum but it did not appear.

For us newbies it would help a lot, and probably save you experts answering silly questions, if we had a list of all the abbreviations together with a short explanation of what they mean eg FAID, GID SPLock etc etc

Sorry if this post does appear twice

If there is a Glossary then i can't find it
