Hi
I have a nokia 6610, i've used an O2(uk)pay as you go sim in it and i can call the phone (and answer etc), and i can call to check balance etc (currently has no credit). It can also receive texts.
When i put in a vodafone contract sim, the sim registers, i get a signal, i can send and receive texts(when i send a text - it says undelivered on my phone, but it actually delivers it). But when i call the handset with this sim in, i get a recorded message sayin 'the vodafone you are calling is not responding - please try again later or send a text'. I've tried calling it again, and i just get the three tones over and over(low-med-high - if you get me)
I don't understand the fact that different things work with different cards in?
Surely if it was lock to a network, it wouldn't accept the sim, and if it was barred, it wouldn't work at all?
Please help - it driving me mad!
