8310 security code

howdy all im having trouble with an 8310 i put network 1 sim in and it asked for a security code of which 12345 worked no problem so i put a different network sim into it and it asked for a security code again and 12345 that didnt work so i put the first sim back in and tried to restore factory settings but it wouldnt take the 12345 code does it block itself for five minutes or whats up??? i may restore to the sledge hammer and hilti nail solution!!!!!
