I'm not an expert, but did you "Set FAID" after flashing operation ?

And in the worst case, did you make a full (flash) backup of your phone before trying to upgrade, just to allow you to "flah it back" ..?
I get a bad experience with a Nokia 6210, if it could help I write a report of what finally "saved" me ... just read HERE (http://nokiafree.org/forums/t61503/h/s.html)

Good Luck !

read full flash from another 8850 or search the net for it

flash the phone with it

repair IMEI
set Faid
unlock SP locks and phone will be ok

I think I can see what you did wrong

did you flash a virgin eeprom for the 8210 after you flashed the 8225 sw?
that is what you need to do

the eeprom stores all the information on the phone like the IMEI and all your different settings and ringtones
you need the correct eeprom with each sw

so the 8225 is based on the 8210 sw so it needs an 8210 eeprom
these can be found everywhere on nfree just use the search tool

search for an 8210 virgin eeprom
you will then need to flash this eeprom to the address 0x3D0000

Danny

When it asks you to turn on the phone wait a couple of seconds and then insert your charger
it should flash as normal

flash the 8225 sw first and then the eeprom at 0x3D0000 (in rollis you just click the 8210 button when asked)
