My phone has powered off a couple of times in the night. It seems it just does it when I'm not looking. It happened after I upgraded to v4.13 firmware.

I think it's a software bug, or something.

Is everyone with the problem running firmware v4.13? I am and having a similar problem, so might be an idea to get downgraded to v3.xx and see if that helps. I had no probs with v2.50, so v4.13 could just be a dodgy version.

So how is 2.50, comparing to 4.13??
Thanx, Victor.

I Have 2.50 and i had the same prob... it's memory prob when your memory is overloaded the phone reboots to turn off the apps....

Yeah, looks like its not a firmware problem then... Much easier to fix if its just apps...

Hey!!
What do ya know!!
Awesome idea! So now when u go to sleep just hold the menu botton and close all the running apps, right??

Well, its not quite that simple. Some apps can run in the background still. There was an app that let you close those apps down. I can't remember the name of it, im sure someone else can.

Well, some are apps you've installed and im sure about system apps. I think they are more like processes, like in windows NT, 2000 and XP. I'll have to have a play and work it all out.

i have no idea... why dont u test it and tell us? :D
my 6600 have turned of 2 times. thats all. so it isnt really bothering me. i think its true that the ram thingy will work. u can use appman or somthing to compress ram, or just close other open tasks
