I was wondering could anyone shine some light on a problem. I got asked to unlock a C60 and i downloaded Friea 10. I got it to recognise the phone but when u try to unlock it i get boot file not accepted. I've had no problems using other builds of Friea with the older phones, this is the first C60 i've been asked to try. Anyone got any tips. Appreciated.

MC60 v10/M55 v11 and C60 doesn't need cutting anymore..
you can do with java trick.

But on very newest version of C60 java trick already doesn't work anymore.

I have a MC60 and I can't unlock it with Friea 10 either, I have the cable and everything, I've updated the firmware to the latest from the siemens site. It won't accept the boot.

Any tips? Also I'd like to change the IMEI if possible.

i prefere cutting the track than using the java bypass.

more secure more fast in my opinion

faster indeed.. not more secure I feel..

With the java trick I have never experienced dead phone.. with cutting I know a lot ;)

This may seem like a stupid question but how do i know if i have a new type C60 or an older type...

I didn't cut the track yet on this one because i had heard of this trick but now i'm not sure and i don't want to kill this...

if you do the patch and you get message that it can't be patched.. you have new version.. (or it is already patched...)
