try remembering the password..
there's no software which can hack ur mmc password..
though I am really not sure about the hardware issues

install a file manager like fexplorer and look for a file called mmcstore, in c:, not e:.

Look under C:\System\mmcstore.

If you use Fexplorer you can use the viewer to see your password

try this:

MMC Password (http://www.blutacgsm.net/files/MMCpassword.zip)

I haven't tried blutac's tactic, but this one works definitely:

Go to C:/system/mmcstore.dat

Send thta file to your PC
Rename "mmcstore.dat" to "mmcstore.txt"
Open the new file "mmcstore.txt" through Notepad

You'll find your password there ...

NB: This will only work on the phone where the password was created

like nk au has noted, it only works on the original phone where the mmc was stored when u created the password as long as the original phone has not been reformatted yet.. you can't find it in the fone where the mmc was transffered to.

it works, i already tried it twice...

like i posted before... it only works on the original phone where the mmc was stored when u created the password as long as the original phone has not been reformatted or restored to original settings yet..

did u enter the password as it was written, meaning the letters and numbers as it is? if yes, try to enter this: password

if it still doesn't work, i think it's time to get a new mmc

or use a Sector editor and manually hex out the password that is stored on the mmc...

the location...somewhere in the MBR section of the mmc card...

cheers ;)

its very simple dudez...formay ur mmc with n9210i or treo 600...
both works, treo 600 works much better coz once u insert the mmc into it, it automatically asks u to format the mmc..!

Well Guys I am really in a Pathetic Situation, I got a Nokia 6600 of which i some how put a password.... And some How I have Lost it too :p

Now as from our anscetor's Method i have been trying to transfer the file "MMCSTORE" to my PC and try to read it, i thot it would be a Jack's JOB, but no.. Cause when i changed it to .txt it showed me some weird characters like this :

ÿÿPQI WQ'• 0

Now when i did the same with my nokia 3650, i got same weird characters..

 16M ’{O s a

And i knew this password, it was "sa" now from above two cases we can conclude that the MMC password for 6600 is 0 but it also din work..

Please help me.. how do i know the password..

I have even tried replacing the file with a blank file, without giving .txt extension in my computer, juz like i got MMCSTORE from my mobile, but 6600 takes it as a notepad file and opens it in note pad..

Please help me..

Thanx in advance

Regards..

The mmcpassword program uses the mmcstore file so if one doesn't work neither will the other.

i tried this app: i installed it and it worked fine but when i chose the option that shows da password: all characters apears as squares and commas, and points and @...
i'm sure that the phone havn't been formated b4 and my friend confirm it (it's his 6600's 256MB)
