View Full Version : Can't flash/convert 3310 6.33 MCU

Hi!

Recently I've spent some time trying out others' modflashes, so I thought I might try making one myself from a 6.33 MCU + an N PPM.

But when I open the MCU in Rolis, it says:

"Error

NHM-5 yet supported mcu sw images:
- binary 0x130000 byte size mcu sw image
- Dejan 0x130000 byte size mcu sw image
- wintesla mcu sw image"

I didn't stop here, I've tried to convert these into FLS format with Knok Phoenix (as far as I've experienced, it worked better for flashing than Rolis, don't know why), it didn't show any errors, but it started to fill up my harddrive :-o

I got the flash from handy-flashpage.tk, and after the first failure, I've redownloaded it, just to be sure - with no luck.

Is my problem unique? If not, how did you fix it?

Any help is appreciated,

Download the full backup and extract the MCU from there, seems that the MCU is just corrupt

Hi,

It's not corrupt, it's a conversion tool shortness.

U need to fill the conversion 'gap' between 13.0000 and 14.0000 with FF's.

If U don't, parts of Ur old data will stay there in the phone, and leads to incorrect checks.

Practically, I think before flashing U can clean all the data in phone first.

Then flash Ur seperate mcu and ppm.
