Ok, I'll get straight to the points:
1. Is there a decent MP3-to-AAC convertor? The one I found called DB Amp or something, but it wasn't good. Tried iTunes, but it converts my mp3s to m4a's or something. I don't like the idea of burning songs to CD-RW, rip it with Nokia Audio Manager then erase. And continue the cycle ...
2. I usually put my mp3s in E:/sounds/music. Can I put the AAC where I usually put the mp3s? I presume so ...
3. Any of you guys got the song "N-Gage Rage" converted to AAC? I seem to get Nokia Audio Manager errors ... every convertor hates this song or something? LOL :-P
4. Anyone seen the limited edition Sonic cover for N-Gage? How much is it? Is it plastic? (I hate glossy covers. Especially when I sweat during a game ...)
5. Do you guys like the original Grey cover? Or the Silver or the Green? (Green = black on front and green on back)
You may think that I could try out Point 2, but the N-Gage is still on its way to my door via Registered Post

You can fit 7 MP3 songs on a 32MB MultiMedia Card
You can fit 16 AAC songs on the same 32MB MultiMedia Card
First 7 songs of both test were the same.
MP3 was 128kbps
AAC was 64kbps
Quality? Well, MP3 128kbps = AAC 64kbps!
I prefer AAC now. I can fit more on a mere 256MB MultiMedia Card, until I save enough for a 512MB MultiMedia Card lol

did u try any mp3 edittors? try reducing the bitrates of the mp3 to 64, i tink it could b the same size as the aac version.

I just use MP3s. I have more than 70 on there at the moment, and you can't notice the difference in quality because the higher bitrate is only needed for better speaker systems. So don't even bother with AAC, it's useless.
And I saw one place that was selling the Silver colour N-Gages $100 more than the Green coloured N-Gages. Which was very odd.

Too late now as I bought an N-Gage for $250 at Ebay AU ... but I'd prefer the Green N-Gage if it was $100 cheaper ...
Now about AAC files. Anyone know where Nokia Audio Manager 3.0 places all the AAC files on the MMC Card? Anyone?

Yeah me too. It didn't really make sense to have two identical N-Gages with $100 different price tag, just because of the colour of the case.

Now to business.

Why don't you just try? There isn't many places that the AAC files can go.

My N-Gage hasn't arrived yet via Registered Post from Sydney yet!
I'm getting ready for my 256MB MMC so that I'm ready for some fun after school, should my N-Gage arrive ...

Received my N-Gage yesterday (Friday) at 3:20pm AEST
I placed my AAC music files into E:/Sounds/Music
Works. No problems!

If I want one of my MP3's to be the default ringtone, does the ringtone have to be in:
E:/sounds/digital
??? Yes? No?

yes but it also plays if you put them in e:\record

I don't want two files of the same MP3 song on my MMC as I don't have that much space!
So if I place the MP3/AAC in E:/Record, will the Music Player detect it too?

something to do with recordings, mmcs, accs and some bug we've found out....we need some others to verify some tests...but so far the conclusion is... a .(dot) extention MUST be named when recording with Music Player or Radio Recorder

Don't understand what the guy is trying to say at n-gage-help.com
Ok, now the game icons re-appear after a session of MP3/AAC playing
Here comes my next problem:
My computer does not recognize my N-Gage. Let me mention a few facts:
1. My first N-Gage connected to the PC via the USB cable with no problems
2. The 256MB MMC i'm using in my current n-gage, was the same as my previous N-Gage
3. The USB Cable is different, not the same
4. I've tried three different USB ports, all with no results
5. I formatted the MMC with my N-Gage, not with MMC Card Reader/Writer or MMC Medic
Someone help?

Cable doesn't seem to work with a non nokia mmc. The only ones i've got it to work with have been official nokia 16 and 32mb mmcs.
Tried with 2 ngages, reformatted mmcs, and 2 different cables.

Oh, well. I might as well forget about it.
Problem though is, I'm using the same 256MB MMC as I was on my previous N-Gage (now stolen) and the USB Cable worked then.
Now I buy another one, and it doesn't work :-? ~ I'm going to save up money for a 512MB or 1GB. I'll see what happens then.
I'm not neccessarily paying for the ridiculous prices. Might bargain or barter
