Hi all. Wondering if I could use some of your collective expertise.
8210 and 8250: LCD
This has been a recurring problem where the screen starts to appear and disappear when it feels like. It's now more often not showing anything (but is lit up). I have read that the rubber contact which supplies the LCD power needs to be cleaned. My question is how do I correctly remove/clean/replace it?
8210: Volume
The ringer on this 8210 is quite soft. What could be the problem? Please advise.
8250: Power
Okay, this issue has only recently surfaced. An 8250 I have cannot power up. I can charge the battery okay, and the LCD goes on when I plug in the charger. But, when I try and turn it on... nothing. Again on these forums, I've read that you need to test with a multimeter. Being not very electronically engineered or knowledgeable about this, what do I need to put the multimeter poles on and what multimeter settings do I use?
Thanks a bunch guys!
Danny
