Using FExplorer on my 6600 I get drives C: D: E: and Z:
E: must be my memory card as its 32Mb
What are the other 2????
I have found bits of previous games/apps, well the filename is familiar and I dont have it installed anymore.
Its just hanging around on the the first tree from C: Is deleting from here (or D: and Z:) advisable if I know what it is???

Hi,
You are right with your prediction of E: this is indeed your MMC.
C: Is the phones internal memory, with an empty 6600 this reads about 6mb.
D: Is the phones RAM, temporary files are stored here like visited WAP pages etc. But this area is wiped when the power is removed, just like RAM in a PC.
You can delete from C: & E: with no real problems, especially if you know the application is no longer on the phone.
Your best to go careful and not delete anything your not sure of and always backup your phone to the PC before hand. That way if it does go pear shaped you can restore it back again.
There is a great Psiloc application called Extended File Manager and this has an Advanced Clean Up facility which searches for unused files or folders and asks the user if he/she would like to remove it.
