Im just wondering, is it cheap to get 1gb MMC Scandisk for 271USD? Or 98USD for 512mb? It seems quite reasonable, its even included postage in the U.S......

271 US sounds pretty good for a 1 gig, the 512 price sounds better.
but make sure they do work 1st.

Dont get why Nokia had to use MMC, its the most expensive flash memory by far. You can get 2gb CF for 145USD...

i dont think nokia wants to make it too easy for people to have every n-gage game copied to their phone for free all at once :) and arent they switching it for their next phones to a smaller size one (ie less compatible) ?

The only reason is size restriction. Phones are geting smaller, how can they fit CF cards? Nokia even consider reduced MMC for their newer phones.

Looking for 512MB MMC Cards ...
I don't need 1GB do I?
20 Games: 196MB
Music: 128MB
Images & Ringtones: 2MB
Left Over for future N-Gage games: 186MB
Plenty of space isn't it? Plus the fact that I added MDP Soccer, Ashen and Pandemonium and some other games which I hate. So, yea. I think I'm set.
I'm not going to be greedy and aim for a 1GB (it might not work :sad: )
===============
I nearly got the money ready. Now to wait for the prices to fall :D

Attention to all others! Post up how much a 512MB and 1GB MMC Cards cost in your country!

I got a 256mb card a month ago and now I am wishing I got a bigger one, now that I can download movies onto my phone. I'd like to have enough space to hold a movie at any given time so I can watch it when I am stuck waiting somewhere.

Yeah... a 512 MMC should be sufficient, I'd be content with a 1024 MMC though, I could fit around 1/10 of my MP3s on it... :rolleyes:
