g50 not unlocking????????

just purchased a panasonic g50 on virgin and the following codes do not work!!!!

Are you using the free calc ? If so this version needs to be unlocked by griffin log as the codes produced are different

i have the same problem, i purchased a panasonic G50 direct from virgin and non of the codes i have work on the phone, however i purchased a fully reconditioned phone from virgin.

Can any1 help?

I unlocked a virgin G50 today.
I downloaded and tried every g50 calc i could find, all generated the same unlock codes. I entered every code twice and it still wouldn't unlock(sim mep lock failed).
Then i put in my O2 sim entered code **00032* then **00012, i still got the sim mep lock failed message but i reset the phone and it accepted my sim.

can you explain in more detail how to unlock please as i have done wot you say and still wont work when i put my O2 sim in.....what do you mean by reset the phone?

i mean after entering only codes **00032*&**00012* turn off the phone then turn it on again.
i'm no expert i have only unlocked one of these, i was trying the codes for about an hour b4 it unlocked.
