Ok, I checked out both trial versions.

Mobile Basic is ...
well, crap.

You have to compile java-like applets, the environment is very poor and it's not very different from coding in java;
there are few tools to help you out ( a map builder, an image editor ) and they are also very bad designed.

Game Editor instead looks like an older version of Games Factory ...
basically you create objects into a virtual environment and you "click togheter" your game, very simple to use and no coding required.

However, it's very buggy, I don't think it's possible to go past the classic arkanoid or space invaders clone ... and I've worked a lot with The Games Factory, this one is far worse.
You can export your game in a Windows, Linux, Palm or Symbian version.

It's also very expensive, 49$ for the full version.
Maybe if it was cheaper ...
( well ... I'm not requesting ... but ... )

... I wonder,if only someone could port RPG Maker for S60 phones! :-o

Ahh...like the games factory you say. Well it is possible to make good games with that if you are prepared to put the effort in to make a good physics engine using tons of events first...

ill have a look at this app.

RPG maker is far too limited...Games Factory/Multimedia Fusion are much better and can do all types of game.

Yep, of course,
for this reason it could MAYBE be ported to S60.

They made an RPG Maker for Gameboy Color, afterall ...

Cool, but it doesn't seem to support Symbian yet? I made some games and screen savers in Games Factory and Click and Create.

Here is a screen saver I made http://www.angelfire.com/rebellion/stieg/Raggarapa.zip

Yep, like a dumbed down version ...
too expensive, in my opinion.

I'll leave the creation of games being created 2 the experts. I'm just a player.

Far too expensive for what it can do :/

Of course, but really its not worth it. Its crap, and the 30 day trial is with all crap features already in it.

Nope, you can't export your work so no Symbian games ...
well, it's not REALLY crap, it's only very limited ...
I'm sure I could do something playable with it.
