My Nokia 3660 System error , Pls help

My Nokia Show me system error when I press the menu button . But when I unplug the mmc card .. the phone works fine. I know thre is a lot of ppl have the same problem, and I have been looking through the forum .. but I cann't understand them and unsure wat to do ... Pls help .

Ok , first of all wat is card reader ? is a device or a software .. ???
second , how do I format the mmc card if I cannot got into the menu ( when I plug back the mmc card into the phone ).

Pls help , I need to solve this problem .. I dun mind to format the data inside the mmc card. I need the step for me to make the mmc come alive again ... pls helllpppp ...

card reader is an additional device that can be used to read the memory card through the PC, most of the card reader have couple slots or more so it can read any other form of memory card, because there's so many type of memory card.
>If u want to fromat u'r memory card just buy a card reader and plug it to u'r pc and u'll see u'r MMC will show as a directory in your pc folder, just right click and choose format.But after you formatting the mmc by PC you have to format it again with your phone (if u'r phone can be used after the MMC being formatted) because if u don't, the MMC won't have the system folder that can be used to store any data or applications from your phone.

hi...
if u can access to wt u want after the error msg, go to C:\system\
and delete the file system.ini :)
if u cant do anything .. so do wt our friend'v said ( formate the mmc ) from
a MMC Reader. :)

absolutely useless posts...now back to your original post....

ok for your mmc....goto e:\system\recogs

and see if any files are in there...good idea to move this folder out of your mmc and onto ur computer and see if that fixes the prob

identify which programs installed those files in the recogs folder...

good idea here to install those programs again....

did u delete any folders when the mmc card was not inserted?

these are some of the reasons as to whats happening to your card and why your having boot probs....
