Yes. I use Cool Edit Pro 2, to amplify low volume songs before sending them to my phone. It's pretty straightfoward once you get the program, just choose "amplify"...

Try to source for the above app thru net, however, find out that this software had become Adobe Audition and it actually required license for that .....
Perhaps there is someone who still have the 'good old version' ?? :-P

Try downloading this freeware called Audacity from www.download.com... you can increase your MP3 volume using it... and one useful thing about it too is that you can also convert your MP3 to Ogg files... best for 6600 users who want ogg files as their ringtones...

Hi, I read in another thread somewhere of a little technique on how to get the volume louder on your headphones if that's what your getting at...
Go to the Settings menu and then Enhancement and change the setting for 'Enhancement in use' to 'Loopset'. Now make sure you open up the MP3 program first and THEN insert the headset and you'll have greater volume music without the need for re-encoding. If you don't insert the headset AFTERwards then music comes out of the phone's loudspeaker too and anyone nearby will hear what your listening to.
You could get a few odd stares by people on the street if you set it up the wrong way round, especially if you have an embarrasing taste in music!! :-P
Kind Regards,
Phil :)
