Have you tried to use those same words ("change IMEI 3330") in the search feature? You might be surprised with the amount of post that discuss that...

You can change IMEI for a lot of reasons m8.

For testing network failure: imagine you have a phone that won't hold the network but you don't know if it's barred or not. You change IMEI to a valid one and see if it stays registered

By flashing eeprom: imagine you have a standalone board (no housing) and you forget to point down the IMEI. After eeprom flashing all you get is ???????????. The solution is to write new IMEI from old phone or unused board

For the knowledge: You can do it just for the fun of achieving it

and anothers you can think off ;)

cheers

Get a m&f bus data cable for your 3330...use nokiatool 1.8 or someother program that can change imei numbers.....

I must say doing this is against the law .....

So if I were to kill somebody, just for the fun of achieving it, or for the knowledge of how to do it.

Do that make it ok, or any less of a crime???

It's easy to do, nobody can stop you doing it, nobody can tell if you have done it.

But it is a crime, so don't try to defend it with all that crap.

Best regards

Mark

there are people that can actually make comparisons between killing someone and changing the IMEI of a phone :-?

buy yourself a datacable for your phone, download rolis nokia tool and run it.
connect your phone and click on auto set up (looks like a ladybird, i think)
make sure your phones switched on, sim out.
once phones recognised click on read phone.
once phones data is displayed enter new imei (maybe from one of your old phones you'll never use again)
and click change imei.
simple!
:D
