8310 v 5.54 unlock ??????

i have just read, somewere on this forum that the new software version 5.54 for the 8310 has 5 locks instead of 4, and that the phone re-locks its self to its original network!!!!!

does anyone know if this is true or not, as if it is we wont be able to unlock it with jic or any of the other free software anymore.

yes you've heard right, but i'm pretty sure that v5.57 is the first version with 5 locks.

5.57 could not be unlocked with free soft now.
