Hi

Wonder if any of you folks are using it? I'm running into problems using Nokia PC Suite 6.0 with my Nokia 6230.

Firstly, the phone browser do not work correctly. I'm connecting my phone via IrDA to my laptop. While its able to show the contacts and gallery folder. I can't go into the sub-folders of gallery folder. Each time I double click onto the gallery folder icon, my laptop prompts the error message 'could not complete operation'.

The second problem I'm facing is with Nokia Content Copier. I can't seem to be able to do a proper transfer of data from phone to PC. I get an error message after each transfer process saying its unable to save the 'nfc' file.

I've tried using the the PC Suite with 3 different Nokia 6230. Only one of the them don't face any problems. By the way the one not facing any problems is running software version 3.15. As for the other 2, one is on 3.14 and the other on 3.15

Anyone out there face the same problem as me? Any recommended solution?

Had the same problem, rang nokia help line. Operator talked me through clean up procedure and heypresto it works. Something to do with cleaning out old registry entries after uninstalling previous version of Nokia browser.

Rename the MMC card, this should resolve your problem.

PS: Rename it to a non-numeric name.

Search through google for nokia pc suite 5.8, it's much more reliable than 6.*

Hi Guys

Thanks for the advise. Mine is working right now too. Here's what I did,

1. Rename my MMC card. Tried connecting did not work.
2. Reboot the phone. Tried connecting, did not work.
3. Turn on my bluetooth, I always have it on, IT WORKS! :)
