Its easy to get 100% hits. Only manageing to Par courses but I will improve.

Doesn't work, tried running SonicN on my 6600 with TW running, out of mem.

Ow and TW does run on 6600 just the colors are funky, don't bother DLing, just buy n-gage :-P

I have read the faq thread, it explained how to download mirc and how to find files, but once I have found the file TIGER_WOODS_PGA_TOUR_2004_RETAIL_NGAGE-ENGAGE (.rar)
how do make mirc download it to my pc?

actually, for a total noob I'm not sure even reading the faq would have helped on this occasion
when i got the file this morning, it wasnt actually on mediaplace, and i got kicked for asking for it (and for being too sleepy to have read the perfectly clear warning, ;) )
its actually on a related server, i forget the precise name, mediaplace {something else}
this new place seemed to have a slightly different set up
it was still straightforward enough to follow the prompts and get the file, but is anyone able to explain to a noob like me whats the difference?

Yes! It is very addictive. I almost have 2 force myself away from it, because of the real feeling that the game is among as if ur really playing golf yourself in real life.

me too, i cant press anybuttons.

all i did was using joystick only, hold down, then hold up again, it will shoot the ball. but any alternatives to this? i cant control the force...? :-?

anyone know if you have control of the backspin in mid air?? eg wen you repeatedly tap black button on the xbox to get it to stop dead when it lands or the white botton so it rolls further forward??

Yeah, same as Xbox and PS2.
Back swing tap 1 or 3 for more power.
When balls in the air tap 1 or 3 for spin.
Works a treat

can really knacker your round if you plonk one in the water cause you dint look at the wind before hand.

Ur 100% right Seddoc36 the wind makes a big differents when playing the game. I totally 4got about that. Thx!

Man the winds really pisses me off too. I was doing so good in the first tournament untill Hole 6 in Bayhill. No matter which direction I hit the ball it always went in the water (I reckon its a fault in the game) I went from 1st on the leaderboard to 48th.


Can any 1 get a PDF of the game manual?

I think it's a case of the ball seems to land too soon and roll a long way.
So hole six over the water you've really got to jib it off to the right.

Sorry to interupt the golfing merriment but is the colour problem for TW on the 6600 really that bad? Because I really want it and I have but a 6600. And please don't just tell me to buy an N-gage or start another arguement about which phone is better...

Check it out though, can't be that bad. Even if the colour is screwy, still worth the DL.

Guys, also don't forget that Mario Golf on the GBC is a quality golf game.
(As well as Speedball 2 (Jams is the man))

i have downloaded it off the IRC and i have tried it in my nokia 6600 and the colour is f**ked up really bad. the colour is ok in the moving animations but when the screen shows writting or a still image the colours are sh*t. it would be impossible to play the game on the 6600 with the colour as it is.

1. Does anybody have a idea on how to get the colour ok on the 6600.

2. Also does anybody know why this colour problem happens.

1. not possible... yet. theres a big chance it will never get fixed im afraid

2. its coz the n-gage only has 4k colours and 6600 has 65k so the colour codes arnt accurate and n-gage only shows the colour that is closest to that colour so it looks ok on n-gage. but 6600 can show these colours and therefor they are totaly wrong

has anyone actually put up with the colours and tried playing it on a 6600 im interested if it works, the way i see the strokes being played you would need to have two button pressed at once??? im understanding 6600 doesnt support this??

as promised, here is an update to allow you to play the extra course
and golfer in tiger woods, which normally requires using arena to
unlock..in this package you'll find 2 programs to run on your PC to update the game..

Well DL the fix days ago, but haven't tried it. I luv playing the game straight 4 now.

The fix works great and doesn't seem to muck anything else up, been using it for about 4 weeks or so. This game did rock but I've done all the sceniarios and most of the tornaments so now I'm just playing multiplayer and thats so annoying when your mate does a crap shot and he wants to restart straight away.

I could be wrong, but the 3650 may not recognize it off the mmc. Also the 3650 may not have enough memory as well 2 play TWPT2004. Once again i'm not that sure.
