7250i Data cable

Hi, I bought a data cable for my phone today, it's a serial not a usb one, i can attach it to the phone and then the P.C but im having trouble trying to get various programs to recognise there is a phone connected.

I have tried to use Nokia Date suite and Oxygen phone manager both of which dont recongnise it, i've installed the drivers off the nokia website, starting to get annoyed at the phone now. Any idea what i need to do?

GO to device manager and find what port the serial cable is on, then go in to OPM's tools setup and select the port and the type of cable which is "dct-2 or 5" i think, cant remember. a long time since i done it
