Ok, managed to unlock it and remove the Orange branding....
Now, time to enjoy it I think, but for the life of me I cannot get it to communicate with PC (connected via Serial cable). I would like to upload some new pictures for backgrounds and maybe a new ringtone or two.
Have tried the Ericsson comms suite 1.5.9.2 which when first run, seems to identify the phone, but after that the Phone doesn't appear to be recognised using the mobile phone monitor applet.
Have tried Sendfile2 and the Ericsson MyPictures application, both seem unable to detect a phone connection.
The cable is supposed to be dual F-Bus and M-Bus compatible, if that helps anyone.
Am I missing something here?
Edit - Just got MyPictures to upload one image to phone, after that it wouldn't "see" the phone until I rebooted PC, then it would upload another... then no connection again.....
Windows 98SE is my operating system.
