Price for 7610

wow, jus check out the price of the long-awaited 7610 here in Singapore.

its the SAME price as my 6600 when it was first launched! (HOW UNFAIR!!! :-x )

it is selling at S$898 (USD = US$521.15) without any plan and upgrade or trade-in!!!

Well, now i regret buying my 6600....sob sob... :sad:

you realised about the price too! I just come across the price board posted outside a mobile shop in Orchard last evening after a hearty Thai-meal. Isn't that babe a great disappointment? I expected it to cost more for whatever it got to offer.

Though i spent not much for my dino egg, i could not imagine 7610 to price exactly like 6600 during its inital launch.

phew.... hopes dashed for getting that baby.

During early launch last Xmas, 6600 was priced at S$898 though i had bought it at S$300 - it was an exclusive discount from Nokia Promo.
And for 7610, it is also priced at S$898. And it is even a heart breaker that together with contract and 6600 trade, this babe costs even cheaper - just S$480. Can you imagine? :sad:

I got mine for AUD990 (incl EMS+Insurance)

AUD990 = USD 674.686 = EUR 560.504

I bought mine off Ebay.com.au, item shipped from Hong Kong to Australia
I couldn't wait any longer ;)

This price might influence some people into purchasing one, or prevent one from purchasing one. Whichever way, I don't care ... cause I *hate* the Nokia 6630 design ... (no offense to those who do)

well its not the case here in the philippines... the 6600 was priced at 23,900.00 Php when it was first released and now it is priced at 21,000.00 Php and the 7610 is priced at 39,000.00 Php thats a difference of 15,100.00 Php compared with the 6600 when first released!!!
well in my part im still holding on my 6600. :D

I get all phones from my operator for this price, but I have to pay every month 5 EURO and the connection price is also good...

I don't know how much 7610 was, it was given to me by my Uncle; the E+SC model (english/simplified chinese) and didn't come with any decent games!!! How crap!~ Its the Singtel model.

The Nokia 7610 has dropped $100 here on Ebay.com.au ~ despite the fact that the 7610 still isn't released in Australia.

My guess is that 7610 will be around in mid-July for us Aussies.

My 7610 arrives today via EMS from Hong Kong. So excited! :D :D :D

I just brought mine in UK @ www.livetelecom.com on a Vodafone contract:

Nokia 7610 - £169.99
Business Contract - £12.00 (monthly) x 12 = £144.00

Total: £313.99

Bonus: The fone was sim-free without the annoying Vodafone logo anywhere!!

Downside: The manual was in Finnish!!

i have been waiting patiently for my 7610, i was told it would be in the uk, tomorow, but have been informed today that it wont be available until the third quarter in the uk???. Does anyone know the release date for the 7610 in the uk?? also do u know how much it will be? the cheapest i have seen them is on ebay, £300 gbp £30 shipping.

You can buy them from ebay for £300 gbp but, it is £30 shipping, and also you could get taxed, the seller ships from hong kong, and sais one in 10 people get taxed!. Although this is cheap i would rather buy it new from uk and get a warranty and insurance :D
