View Full Version : Urgent help needed cannot connect to PC

HI Guys,

I just bought a 9210i commy. I installed the PC Suite on my desktop and using the cable supplied with the sales package was able to immediately connect my commy to my box.

After a couple of days when i am trying to connect to my box again it does not connect. I don't seem to understand the problem.

I remember 1 thing though.. When i was installing f-secure anti-virus on my commy it prompted me a dialog which said close all running applications and i said yes. It listed some running exe file and closed it. I dont remember the name of the file but it was something like 'remote'.
Is that the reason?

Also 1 more thing do i need to start any app on my commy to get thru with the connection?

Please guys give me some good news fast!! So that i get going with the connection again.

My freind,

To connect the commi to the PC you must see first in the tool bar the connection icon...do you know it....the grey one that changes to blue and green when the commi is succesfully connected.

If the icon is there, lets move to something else, check the com port you are connecting the commi to (at the back of the PC) then right click on the grey icon and press properties and check that the selected port is the one you already connected your commi to.

Finaly if that doesn't work try one thing more, push the commi plug correctly and try to make sure that it is correctly fixed inside your commi...

If this all doesn't work, maybe (and i say maybe) uninstalling the PC suite and reinstaling it again could solve the issue....
