ok, i dont know whats going on with the nokia 6600 now, but its starting to take the piss. its been out for a good few months now, so surely one of you guys out there can build an unlimited video recorder? what about that guy that built tim video msg, yeah great, he got 30 seconds. why? somebody email him and tell him to upgrade it and make it longer. surely if hes got 30 seconds, he can extend it to the memory capacity or maybe just 2 mins. thats plenty!
ok, so failing that, what about philips? bravo to them, they made an unlimited video recorder for the 3650, best one out there, but why havent they decided to make a 6600 version? i mean, that is something i would buy. so somebody wanna email them?
so this post is a bit moany, but its about time so moaned and whined to get somebody/somebodies to get their thumbs out their arses!
one last thing. anybody on UK orange? anybody know how to get a better screensaver then that sky one without installing a third party battery draining app?

because ETI is a bit shit. it records in a crap format in which its close to impossible to convert on your pc and what happens when you wanna send a video to a mate? you cant coz they dont have that program. that plus there are no nokia service centres in my area.

Yeah but that wont be released but at least 2 months after the 7610 settles, cuz thats one of the great improvements of 7610 over 6600 and most people will change for that, and if nokia releases it now, all of the mentioned people wont change. Also I guess nokia has something to do with untapped market of unlimited video recording for 6600

Why don't somebody extract the n7610 video recording app and try it on n6600.I heard all app for n7610 is compatible for n6600 and vice versa. So the 10mins video recording app in n7610 shall also be applicable for n6600.

I can try and extract the camcorder files using F-Explorer if you want, then upload as a zip to some webspace and post the link here, but i'm not really sure which files will be needed.

if I go into Z:/ system / apps there is the 'Camcorder' folder with all the files in, but I'm guessing there will also be a DLL file or a few DLL files in Z:/ system/ Libs ..... but i'm not sure, if anyone knows more than me (i'm only guessing) let me know and I'll try and extract the files so that someone can test on the 6600

AND when u are recording long videos it WILL fuck up ur camera..just like it did to mine, first there was little lag then MAJOR then it died..my 6600 has been in the service center for 2 weeks and 2 dats :(

U r using what video recording app for yr n6600 to do long recording? I use ETI without any problem!

the only thing holding me off getting a 6600 is the limit on the video recording!!!!

i fear the 7610 wont work as its not got vga cam!!!
it would be easy ebnough to change the drive rom z to say e though if it was extracted

well, its another marketing gimmick by nokia NOT to gif 10mins of recording to 6600. they need to release one app, sloooooooooooooowly..... and up to their bloody arse...

but it will be really cool to see the 7610 video app usable by 6600... but the hardware is diff, VGA vs Megapix...
