3310 to 3330 (for a newbie)

Hi guys,
This is my very first time here so please be gentle!
I have a 3330 that has very bad reception problems(2 days to receive SMS!!)
and can't make or take calls lots of the time. However I like the features of the phone over the 3310 and wondered if I can make one good 3330 out of both (I have a 3310 & 3330) The 3310 works perfectly but lacks a couple of the small improvements of the 3330.
I have a data cable for ringtones and logos etc.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Sorry but i think he wants to use his 3310 as a 3330. not the other way round : 3330 > 3310.

Well to use a 3310 as a 3330: First of all the flash memory size is different. the 3330 has a bigger memmory, but however a lot of 3310 have the 3330 memmory and so then can be flashed to be a 3330.

If you just flash your phone with 3330 and it does not have the 3330 flash then the phone would go dead, but you will then have to reflash it with the 3310 flash to make it alive again.

also u not only need a data cable but also a flash cable too which plugs into the parallel port.

there is a very good flashing tute on dr bizar's nokia site.

just get the schematic for the flash cable (dct3) and go to the (dct3) flashing tutorials
