3310-3410

i just want to ask the experts, is it safe to flash a 3310-3410? ifor now i dont have backup of 3410 that's why i'm asking but does anyone tries for upgrade from 3310-3410, what are the features ? and can anyone help me how to get a backup, , , , thanx bro's . . . . . . . .

Hi!

If you mean 3310 to 3410 I can say 2 U that this is impossible.
Why?

- 3310 has 2MB and 3410 has 4 MB flash (both with integrated EEPROM)
- The Display resoution is 84*48 on 3310 but 3410 has a high res. Display.
- The keypad needs 2 more key that U can operate corectly.

Maybe U can try to flash the 3410 soft to a 3330 cause this has 4MB Flash but the problem is that U can't read the display very well cause of it's resolution.

Sorry friend, but thats impossible.

thanx man, for the info, i was just confused coz 1 guy here told me that he can convert a 3310 to 3410, now i know that it is imposible. this guy must have been crazy pretending to convert a 3310- 3410. but this guy isn't a member of this forum, thank you very much enzo.....

bro enzo , did you ever try to change the ascending tone of 6210? ive tried to change a 3210 and it workz fine, but when i've tried it to my 6210 (upgraded to 6250) it wont work at all, the tone won't change. . thanx man . . . .in advance. . . . . . . BLACK

what software did you use to change the alert tone of 6250? its possible i tried it many times already and they are working, try to use ice draagons flashtones v2.10, but first back up your phone from x200000 to x5A0000 then edit the tones of the file that you have back and reflash again, the alert tones for 6210, 6250, and 7110 units are located in the ringtones of the flash file try to edit there, hope this will help you,. pinoy din ako!:D ;)

they all say the same here is egypt but when i found it out , they convert 3310 to 3315
so they call it 3419 cuz it have pic editor and autokey lock

pagkatapos mo edit msg alert tone ng 6210, i-ka calculate mo pa ba un using ppm manager? :D

no offense m8s but yes, you can convert 3310 to 3410.

3310 -> 3315. Same flash size, actually just a 3310 software upgrade (Nhm-5). Repacked, different housing, exorbitant price!

3310 -> 3330/50 and 3410. from 2mb - 4mb flash size is feasible.

difference:

3310/15.
-----------
2 mb flash size (ROM).
1mbit RAM

3330
------
4 mb flash size (ROM).
2mbit RAM.
:D therefore just replace flash rom/ram then load 3330 flash data. recalculate and you have a 3330.

3350
------
Same as 3330 except that you need the newer boards which has more pads (PCB) and of course, you need to replace the whole LCD panel (keymat included). Also you need to replace housing and of course look for 3350 keypads.

3410
------
Same as 3350 except that you use 4mbit flash RAM instead of 2mbit. Also look for 3410 housing + keypads.

the later versions of the 3310/30 you will notice have the 4Mb flash rom and the extra key pads under the screen, you will find that this is so on any version which needs a faid update after unlock (like 3330 v4.3-4.5) and the very much later 3310's (cant remember the soft version's). I tried loading 34 soft onto a 3330 and it worked but the screen was all fu*ked up (the 34's have higher res), you could see the picture but it was shifted down and to the right, so you couldnt even see the key notations. The games looked cool though.....
