Also, any idea on the backup ?? Can I just copy everything over to my desktop ?? Is there registry problem or something like that coz I m not so sure how symbian works.

BTW This forum is nice and really of great helps to me :D

backing up 3660, go to memory, and backup phone mem to mmc. all ur contacts, settings, stuff on phone mem will be backed up. so when u upgrade ur firmware, u restore the backup, it goes back to exactly wat it was b4 back up.

Noped, I mean if I changed to a new MMC card, should i just copy everything in my existing MMC to desktop and paste it to the new MMC ???

Thnks for the help.

nope, not all, but most shld work anyway.

and theres a list for 6600, in symbian faqs.

best is to try b4 u buy.

honestly even u try the mmc on the spot, u can't just check the compatibility on the spot.

best thing is ask around ur friends and see what brands they are using. like what tzeonn says check out the list in the symbian faq.

jus in case u are wondering why some work and some dun...

the difference is the "type". type I wun work and 6600 only drive type II only. the brand that im using now is TLC, taiwan made and its only S$115 for 256MB. reliable of cos, been using it since i got my 6600.

well, bigger mem means more stuff installed, more stuff runned, so slightly slower.

yup tzeonn is rite. but dun get bothered by it. its so hardly noticable that u dun see it at all. My girl is using the 32MB while im using the 256MB, which i dun find a difference in the speed.
