View Full Version : removing 6600's realone?
the topic explains my question.. is it possible? i'd like to install helix player instead since it supports more formats & stuff, but i want to remove the realone crap if that's not integrated into the OS or smth (but i'm sure it can be removed, just like you can remove a major part of IE from Windows ;))
thx

no u cant, its part of the firmware.
unless u can make a flash file for ur phone that excludes the realone, and flash it urself.

its on the Z: and that is read only so u cant delete it like u can in C:\windows on ur computer. realone doesnt take up any space anyway. but i can understand that its stupid to have the icon there when u dont need the program.
one thing that only realone can do tho, is to stream audio and video. no 3rd party app can do that as far as i know

helix can do that.. realone is built on "helix dna" anyway so it's more or less the same, helix is just updated and open-source..
