7610 Cam Res Settings.

ok been playing on the 7610 a while every now and then. i wanted to know where is the option if i want to take pics with 640 res. i mean in the cam settings there is only basic, normal and high options. is there nothing like option of 640 or 1024 whtever. i think i did see this online somewhere so i am asking. or is taking pics at basic mode 640 res. plz explain if there is this setting then where is it in the menu thx

who cares, 640x480 is lame, if u wanted to make these kinda shitty photos u should have kept the 6600 :rolleyes:

Thing though is, if you take a photo in a dull area ... or an area which uses artificial light: your picture may end up a little "grainy"

If it is "grainy", you'd have to resize it from 1152x864 to 500x375 or something. That's why Jesal is asking about 640 x 480 - I presume?

yeah exactly, i too find it weird that theres no option to choose photo size.

well having a 1mp camera dosent mean we need Huge Sized pictures all the time,
somehow i think nokia left that out. :lol: :lol:

even with room lighting condition, the full sized pics arent exactly fantastic.
but if we resized the pics, u can see its clearaity. its kinda sad there issint that function in 7610....

Neophyte88 i know its not a big deal. but i wud love this option. also 6600 is very good in taking snaps at 640 res. i am using a 6600 at i do still love it. with photoacute i have taken 2 pics that i love so much. the quality ROCKED. i asked this since i am gettin a 7610 this month. so if i get a xda II i bought as well then im gettin the 7610 too. only thing it wud be nice if there was an option like this. doesnt hurt to have more stuff does it now.
